Frequently asked questions about Mac repair
The most common questions from our clients
Do you repair Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1–M4)?
Yes, we work with every current Apple Silicon MacBook. Some models need special tooling and programmers – we have all of it.
Can the SSD be replaced in modern MacBook Air/Pro models?
On M1–M4 MacBooks the SSD is integrated with the logic board and can't be replaced – that's an Apple factory design, and we don't do logic board work. On older modular-SSD models, replacement is available. For new ones we recommend an external SSD via Thunderbolt/USB-C.
What should I do if I spill liquid on my MacBook?
Turn it off immediately, unplug it, flip it keyboard-down and don't turn it on. We do disassembly, careful drying and cleaning – the sooner you bring it in, the better the chance of saving the device. We don't do logic board work – if a case requires it, we will tell you honestly and refer you to a trusted partner.
